Duration of each BFA course is four years.
NUMBER OF SEATS
BFA (Painting) has availability of 30 seats,
BFA (Sculpture, Metalwork, and Ceramics) has 5 seats each,
BFA (Textiles Design, Interior Decoration) has 15 seats for each.
ELIGIBILITY
The eligibility for any BFA program is higher secondary pass (with no minimum 50%) and one has to clear the exam MH-AAC-CET (Maharashtra Applied Arts and Crafts- Common Entrance Test).

Paper I Object Drawing Practical 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m., Q 1 X 50 = Marks 50
Paper II Design Practical 11.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., Q 1 X 50 = Marks 50
Paper III General Knowledge 2.00 p.m. to 2.45 p.m., Q 40 X 1 = Marks 40
Paper IV Memory Drawing Practical 3.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., Q 1 X 50 = Marks 50
NOTE : There is no choice among the questions, i.e. all questions are to be answered.
MFA COURSES AT SIR JJ SCHOOL OF ART, MUMBAI
Master of Fine Arts course, 2Yrs (5 students for each MFA course) is available to students in 9 fields, namely- Painting in Portrait, Painting in Creative Painting, Sculpture, Painting in Graphic (Printmaking), Painting in Mural, Interior Decoration, Textile Design, Metalwork and Ceramic.
ELIGIBILITY
The eligibility to apply for any MFA course is BFA pass from any recognised university. MFA is done in the same subject as BFA.
DIPLOMA COURSES
The institute offers 4 types of Diploma courses ( Sculpture Modelling, Art Teacher Diploma (ATD), Art Education,Art Master Certificate ) each of whose entry requirements, duration and intake of students is different.
